Robyn Wilson is a registered Educational Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA registration number: PS0059730, Practice number: 0698547). She obtained her undergraduate, Honours and Master’s degrees in Psychology at the University of Durban, Natal in 1997.
Robyn worked in private practice before establishing Whispers Pregnancy and Child Loss Centre. Robyn has a special interest in trauma, loss, grief and bereavement counselling with children, adolescents and adults. She has a passion for working with individuals, parents and families who have suffered or been affected by pregnancy or child loss. Robyn is supported by a diverse team of professionals – each with a special interest in child loss.
Bronwen Davies is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (Registration number: PS0060968, Practice number: 8640491).
An experienced practitioner, she has worked in the medical care sector (Helen Joseph Hospital) and with NGO’s, and has been in private practice for 20 years.
Bronwen works extensively with adults and couples, who face depression, bipolar mood disorder, anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship issues, and other difficulties. She is also experienced in group-facilitation and training.
In 2018, Bronwen joined the Whispers Pregnancy and Child Loss Centre, because she has a special interest in grief and bereavement therapy. Her aim is to assist parents and families who have lost a child. She believes that there is a huge need in SA for specialised support, such as that offered by Whispers, for people who face the devastation caused by pregnancy loss or the death of a child.
